Hope everyone had a good New Year's Eve. Unfortunately we had to skip the ball drop again (lousy internet, it doesn't stream very well out here in the boonies) but we still had a tiny celebration on our own.
I don't have much to report, although I talked to dad the other day and he said the doctors weren't concerned about Karen's fainting episode - I guess it just happens sometimes. Our sister Melinda is back in town and as far as I know they're all spending time together, but I haven't heard anything more.

I heard from someone who heard from someone that Karen make big strides (he referred to it as miraculous) in the past week and she'll be teaching again in two weeks.
